The Youth are collecting new socks for the farmworkers in Eastern North Carolina through the Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry (EFwM). Socks are always needed – they get filthy with dirt and chemicals and don’t last the farmworkers very long. We have a collection bin in the hallway across from the music room. We’ll be collecting through July, 2017 and deliver them in early August.
A new green altar frontal depicting the Tree of Life has been completed by Barbara Brickman & Jan Barbee for use during “Ordinary Time.” References to the tree of life are found throughout the Bible, especially Genesis, Proverbs, and Revelation. Thanks to these ladies for their beautiful work.
Stewardship of St. Paul’s Grass: When the grass around the church is growing, we need some people to help mow it. It is a great stewardship opportunity as well as wonderful exercise. If you would be willing to help mow for a couple of hours one or two days during the growing season, please contact Fill Bowen, firstname.lastname@example.org. St. Paul’s supplies the mowers. We just need your muscles.
