All are welcome to join in adult formation programs and events at St. Paul’s. Come to learn, to ask questions, and to develop community as we journey together.

Ongoing Programs and Resources
Centering Prayer. A combined St. Paul’s/Cary Presbyterian Centering Prayer group meets at Cary Presbyterian Church at 9:00 AM on Fridays. Centering Prayer practitioners sit in silence for 20 minutes with the intention to open their hearts and minds to God. After the Centering time, the group participates in Lectio Divina, book study or discussions of videos for 30-45 minutes. Come and join us! Contact: Martha Waters, Martha.wtrs@gmail.com.
The Daily Office. A series of prayers for daily devotions in the morning and evening. Recordings are made by St. Paul’s readers and are available in .mp3 format HERE.
The Julian Gathering. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month 9:15 – 10:15 AM for contemplative prayer and the study of Julian of Norwich, a 14th century mystic and author of The Revelations of Divine Love, often acknowledged as one of the world’s great spiritual classics. Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS). A seven-week series for women who would like to devote time to their spiritual development, this peer-led ministry offers mothers of all ages a place to share the stress, concerns, and positive experiences that have influenced their spiritual growth. St. Paul’s offers at least one series of MOMS each year, as well as a session of MOMS TNT (for moms of Teens and ‘Tweens.) People of All Colors and Cultures Together (PACCT). Monthly meetings are held on first Tuesdays at 7:00 PM in the Youth Wing to discuss race relations and diversity in our community and America. Text Andrea Johnson at 919-348-9599.
The Women’s Study Group. A group for women who are interested in reading and discussing literature, we alternate reading fiction and non-fiction each month. Many, but not all, of our selections have spiritual/religious themes. Meetings are monthly on the second Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM in the Bride’s room. Child care is available on request.
