Adult Formation (week of Jan 29, 2017)

Read about Adult Formation in the February Newsletter, pages 11, and 12. What we used to refer to as “adult education and spiritual development,” we are now calling Adult Formation or Faith Formation.

SUNDAY ADULT FORMATION

All are welcome to join the Rev. George Adamik in the Chapel from 10:15 – 11:00 AM on January 29, 2017 for the second in a series of classes on “The Prophetic Voices of Scripture.”  Coffee is available in the Chapel narthex before class.

The class on Sunday, February 5 will be led by Andrew Zawierucha, and is about the prophets Hosea and Amos.

WEDNESDAY EVENING SERIES

Wednesday evening Adult Formation continues February 1, 2017 with the third in a series of classes on The Bible from Scratch: Old Testament.  Led by the Rev. George Adamik, this class is entitled From Joshua to Nehemiah.  All classes are held in the Youth Wing, 7:00 – 8:00 PM.  There is no registration.  Everyone is welcome to attend all or as many classes as you can.

ONGOING ADULT FORMATION

CURSILLO WEEKEND JUNE 8-11, 2017

If you are looking for something more in your spiritual life, or if you need a “kick-start,” you may want to attend the next Cursillo Weekend being conducted here at St. Paul’s, June 8-11, 2017.  Cursillo is a spiritual renewal ministry in the Episcopal Church for men and women.  For more information about this Cursillo Weekend, please contact Rev.
