St. Paul’s offers a wide range of adult formation (adult education and spiritual growth) opportunities for adults. The Adult Formation Committee is offering the following events during the summer. Join us for interesting discussions and fellowship.
Summer 2018 offerings will be more relaxed and perfect for “attend when you can” scheduling. The activities will not start until later in June so watch for a beginning date notice.
Sunday mornings – The NOOMA series of modern parables by Rob Bell follows the 9:00 a.m. service. These short videos, 10-14 minutes long, are shown in the Youth Wing. Join us for a short video and informal discussion. You will have plenty of time to get to the 10:45 service.
Wednesday evenings – The Adult Formation Committee again shares the BBC Series, A History of Christianity, hosted by Diarmaid MacCulloch at 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Wing. The videos are an hour long. Anyone who wants to stay for informal discussion is welcome. The remaining episodes are:
• July 11—Catholicism: The Unpredictable Rise of Rome
• July 18—Orthodoxy: From Empire to Empire
• July 25—Reformation: The Individual Before God
• August 1—Protestantism: The Evangelical Explosion
• August 8—God in the Dock

Coffee Hour: Coffee is provided for you during the regular season at Sunday Adult Formation classes, so no need to get your coffee at the regular Coffee Hour, held in the Parish Hall at 10:10 a.m. Click HERE for Coffee Hour schedule. During the summer, grab some lemonade from in front of the church and join us.
