The Women’s Study Group will meet Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 12:00-1:30 PM in the Bride’s Room to discuss The Pearl That Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi. From Khaled Hosseini, author of And the Mountains Echoed and The Kite Runner: “Nadia Hashimi has written, first and foremost, a tender and beautiful family story. Her always engaging multigenerational tale is a portrait of Afghanistan in all of its perplexing, enigmatic glory, and a mirror into the still ongoing struggles of Afghan women.” This will be an interesting book to discuss, so we hope you will join us.
Then in May, we will discuss Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson.
