Leaving a Legacy for St. Paul’s (Nov 9, 2017)

On Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM our Endowment Ministry will be hosting a hors d’ oeuvres and wine, relax, and learn event in the Parish Hall.

During the meeting, we will share ideas as to how our legacy program works. By way of introduction, our endowment does not compete with stewardship or any capital campaign. Our stewardship program is always the first priority for us. After stewardship will come any contributions to a capital campaign. Our legacy program encourages end of life gifts to St Paul’s endowment fund. Think of it as the retirement program for church. As parishioners, we put aside money that can be used years later after these monies have had a chance to grow.

At our relax and learn program, no one will be asking you for money. We will discuss how simple gifts are made, and we will have an attorney present to answer questions about gifting, wills, etc.

Please join us and learn about this Legacy for St Paul’s to benefit our children and our children’s children. Let Lesley Dinwiddie know if you need transportation for this event.
