Bishop Curry Elected Presiding Bishop

Michael Curry, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina, was elected Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church on Saturday June 27, 2015. Bishop Curry will be the Episcopal Church’s first African-American presiding bishop. He will be installed in the position on Nov 1 at the National Cathedral in Washington.
