Outreach
Home Cooking for College Students
Each month during the school year, St. Paul's (under the direction of Bill Fierke) has been providing a home cooked meal for the Episcopal Campus Ministry at NC State. This is a little bit of home for students who are missing that "Sunday dinner." If you would be interested in helping by providing a side dish or dessert on occasion (or regularly) please contact Bill Fierke,

Adopt a Soldier for 2010
St. Paul's Veterans and Military Outreach (VMO) participates in the Soldiers' Angels Adopt a Soldier program. We are honored to adopt our fifth soldier, PVT Matthew P. who is stationed in Afghanistan.
Would you like to provide a gift or care package for our adopted soldier? Our goal is to send 2 packages per month. Gifts and care packages do not have to be expensive: you can put together your own box of snacks, hygiene products, and games or magazines. A sign up sheet is in the Narthex. Questions? Contact Brenda St.Laurent,

St. Paul’s adopted soldiers have expressed their appreciation for the care and support we have shown. Reaching out in this way is one of the most important things that we can do to help bring home healthy heroes; it is very important for them to know that they are loved and supported, and our letters and care packages will prove that.
It's not the "things" that are sent that matter to us, it's the thought. That's the power ALL of you have who take the time to send things. You can change the worst day into the best day, in a split second. - MP in Iraq
