Stewardship is a celebration of the many wonderful blessings that we have each been given. In this celebration, we acknowledge that our gifts come from God and we share these gifts, in the form of time, talent, and treasure, for the betterment of our parish, community, and beyond.
Stewardship is belonging. It is the decision that St. Paul's is the church that we want to call home. Hand-in-hand with belonging is the sense of responsibility which calls us to shoulder our fair share of the cost of supporting the church's mission.
Stewardship is empowerment. Giving is what allows the church to determine what services can be offered. Generousgiving is what will allow St. Paul's to reach its potential.
Stewardship is planning. It is setting aside a portion of our income and including St. Paul's in our wills.
Stewardship is introspection. It is examining and reevaluating the role of money in our lives. It is identifying our individual talents and determining how they can be best serve God.
Stewardship is a journey, just as faith is a journey. Stewardship is one barometer of where we are in that journey and provides an invitation to where we can be.
Stewardship provides an opportunity for us to step out of our comfort zone and challenge ourselves to follow the example set for us by Jesus.
