We recognize that each of us brings our varied experiences, talents and beliefs, and we rejoice in our diversity. We are committed to deepening our faith through worship and learning, as well as to being sent forth in service to make this world a better place for all God's children. We would love for you to join us in this journey of faith. There is a place for you at St. Paul's!
221 Union St., Cary, NC 27511 Questions about St. Paul's? Email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it If you are new to St. Paul's, please read St. Paul's Brochure. It provides information about St. Paul's schedules and an introduction to just a few of our many inreach and outreach activities. A listing of ministries also is provided under the Stewardship pulldown menu above or by clicking here. We invite you to explore the pull-down menus for more information about our ministries. For more information about any of the ministries listed, please contact the church office (919-467-1477 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) or the person listed as the Ministry Leader. When you visit St. Paul's for a Sunday service, there are greeters in the lobby (narthex) to meet you. Take a moment to say hi, and let a greeter know you are visiting. We love to meet new people! You are also invited to fill out a contact card from the holder on the back of the pew in front of you. You may drop the card in the offering plate or give it to an usher. Someone from St. Paul's will be happy to contact you. One of our many strengths at St. Paul's is that we offer a variety of worship experiences. Our 7:30 AM Sunday service is Rite I. This is a relatively short service and does not have music. Our 9;00 AM Sunday Worship service has taken on a family flavor. Children often help with the readings and Prayers of the People, and music is generally contemporary. The 11:15 AM service has a more traditional flavor, with organ music often accompanied by trumpets and other instruments. We offer Children's Chapel during both the 9:00 and 11:15 services. Children start out the service with their parents, then process out to the Chapel where they hear the Gospel story and participate in a craft or other activity. Children re-enter the church at the Peace, in time for Communion with the adults. We also offer a staffed nursery (aka Kid's Club) during both the 9:00 and 11:15 worship services, as well as for many events during the week, such as choir practices and outreach opportunities. We feel that it is truly important for children to be engaged in the Worship experience and for their parents to be able to participate fully in the life of the church. Children's Sunday School and the Adult Education program take place between 10:10 and 11:00 in the Education Wing. New participants are welcome in these programs at any time. Newcomers to St. Paul's may be interested in the monthly Newcomer Class, taught by members of our clergy. Topics include the Anglican Communion, the Episcopal Church, and the History of St. Paul's. Please check the Adult Education pulldown menu to see upcoming classes for newcomers as well as other educational offerings. Are you new to the Episcopal Church? If so, we imagine that the some of the terminology may seem a bit daunting. Rev. Lois Reardin has had some fun with this topic in her Wit and Wisdom column, which you can find in the Our Voices -> From the Pulpit pulldown menu or here. The Episcopal Church USA's website (http://www.episcopalchurch.org/) has a Vistor's Center with an incredible amount of information that may be of interest, including a glossary of terms and discussions about the Episcopal tradition and faith. If you would like help with Prayer Book or other aspects of the service, please let a greeter or usher know and he or she will find a parishioner who will gladly assist. Ushers and greeters can also help you find the nursery, education wing, large print hymnals and prayer books, and devices for the hearing impaired. The main church building, parish hall, education wing, and chapel are all wheelchair accessible.
