Update: Episcopal Farmworker Ministry Gives Thanks

St. Paul’s response to the Diocesan request for help for the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry after Hurricane Matthew was overwhelming. Eight van loads of food and clothing were sent to Diocesan House for transport to the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry and the flood ravaged community it serves. $2066.00 in monetary donations were gratefully received as well. Currently, conditions in Newton Grove have stabilized and the food/clothing drive has been suspended. If you would like to volunteer to help with rebuilding some of the housing that was destroyed by flooding, please contact Reid Joyner of the Diocese who is coordinating these efforts at Reidjoyner@gmail.com. Monetary donations continue to be welcome. If you would like to contribute, please make a check out to St. Paul’s putting EFwM in the memo line. Thank you for your extraordinary response to helping our farmworker brothers in Christ.
