Wheels4Hope Car Blessing at St. Paul’s (Oct 16, 2016)

A Wheels4Hope Car Blessing at St. Paul’s on Sunday, October 16!

On Sunday, October 16, 2016, during coffee hour (10:15 AM), the St. Paul’s congregation is invited to join in celebrating a Wheels4Hope Car Blessing with Shikara Elliott. Financial contributions for vehicle repairs have been provided by St. Paul’s members. Wheels4Hope is a faith-based, volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping economically challenged families and individuals by providing them reliable, affordable vehicles. Many steps have occurred to prepare for this moment and it’s time to celebrate! See God’s work on wheels!

Shikara will have a car to get to work …

A car of her own again for Shikara and her family! She has been without a vehicle since early 2016 when her car caught on fire. Catholic Charities Support Circle Program, a Wheels4Hope Partner Agency referred Shikara to Wheels4Hope. She lives in North Raleigh and is not on a bus line; members of her Support Circle have been giving her rides to her job as a Customer Service Advocate. She recently got married and she has 4 children (6, 8, 13, & 16 years old). She shared her gratitude; “Wheels4Hope is a blessing to me. I can’t thank you enough. To God be the glory.”

This is only possible with the support of congregations like St. Paul’s, car donors, and volunteers. Your used car can change lives. Donate your car & get the best tax advantage. Come volunteer!
