Join Center for Hope and Healing (CHH) counselor Ruth Burnett to learn more about advances in brain imagery that have led to a better understanding of how trauma affects the brain and mental health. Learn about treatment options that have proven effective. Two class offerings: Tues. Sep 15 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon and Thursday Sep 17 at 7:30 – 9:00 PM. The Annual Pumpkin Carving and Chili Cook-off will be October 25, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. All ages and stages are welcome! Please bring your “gutless” pumpkin (remove seeds and pulp at home), carving tools, your adorable children (in costume, if desired), a pot of chili to be judged (optional, but prizes are awarded!) and a non-sweet side dish to share. All of St. Paul’s is invited to join PreEYC at the “Yam Jam” for the Society of St. Andrew on the morning of Oct. 17, 2015, from about 9:00 to 11:00. The St. Paul’s Ministry of Mothers Sharing (MOMS) has courses scheduled for this fall. The original MOMS classes (for mothers of infants through elementary school) will be Tuesdays, Oct 13 – Nov 24 and the MOMS TNT classes (for mothers of teens and tweens) will be Mondays, Oct 12 – Nov 23.
