Join the Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is looking for  new members.  With our busy lifestyles, we recognize that not everyone has the same amount of time to help so we try to be very flexible with our scheduling.  We will take your help even if you can only give 30 minutes on a Sunday after the church service you attend.    If you would like to learn more about this ministry or think you would be interested in joining, please contact Anne Babb (Altar Guild director) at 919-362-4622 or email aebabb@nc.rr.com

Got Yarn?

Prayer Stitchers needs your yarn remnants to continue our ministry of providing warmth and comfort.  If you have yarn left over from a project, we would be honored to give that yarn new life that will help needy people in our community.  Continue reading to find out how to donate.

Nextdoor Instructions

Thank you for agreeing to publicize Lobster Fest on Nextdoor. Here are a few things we’re asking:

  1. Please post this as an Event.
  2. Under “Choose Neighbors,” select Yours and Nearby
  3. For Category, choose Festival. Title is “Lobster Fest Cary“.
  4. Cut and paste this description, please:

Lobster Fest Cary brings the fresh taste of Maine lobster right here to Wake County! The lobsters are pulled out of the water, packed in a cooler truck in Maine and driven overnight to Cary. Dine-In and enjoy a social event or Take Out and make your own event – Live Lobster, Cooked Lobster, Lobster Rolls – you decide! Pre-ordering online (lobsterfestcary.org) is a must, as quantities often run out early in the day, and we hate to disappoint Lobster Lovers.
