Refuge for Refugee Welcome Our Eighth Family

The St. Paul’s Refuge for Refugee Committee (R4R) is excited to welcome our EIGHTH family to the United States. We are next on the list of sponsors with US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) for hosting a refugee family from (hopefully) Afghanistan.

Dear Friends,
We have come a long way these last few months at St. Paul’s as we navigate these continuing challenging times of COVID-19. In my numerous conversations with parishioners, in person or by phone or email, there is a common desire to gather, to be together. While some are ready to do that in person, some are telling me they’re not quite ready yet. And I respect each and everyone’s discernment in this. So, this fall I am in awe, once again, of the creativity of staff and ministry leaders as programs move forward in ways that reach out to all parishioners wherever they are right now in their discernment.
