Farmworkers from Mexico will soon be arriving on farms located just an hour from Cary. These men live in remote labor camps and arrive with the barest of necessities. The Coronavirus has added to the long list of issues that farmworkers already face: sub-poverty wages, substandard housing, and isolation from family and friends.Continue reading
A memorial service will be held for Martha Ford Waters on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church. Martha’s family will also be receiving visitors at a celebration of her life on Thursday, February 24 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Herb Young Center in Cary. This Sunday, join us for Adult Formation and hear from the Rev. Rhonda Lee, author of Seek and You Will Find Discovering a Practice of Prayer. I also encourage you to join us for worship this Sunday. It was encouraging last Sunday to see nearly a dozen children processing to children’s chapel and joining with those who were participating online.
