Weekly Update January 27, 2022: A Letter from the Rector

The Rev. Rod Reinecke, the founding vicar of St. Paul’s, passed away on December 27, 2022.  In 1958 Rod joined the group of faith-filled founders of St. Paul’s, those 20 families who had a dream for an Episcopal Church in Cary, NC. Read George’s Letter

Over $8000 Donated to Heifer International in 2022!

Thank you to everyone at St. Paul’s who gave donations to Heifer International in 2022. By year’s end, the total donation in worship services and on the St. Paul’s Heifer International webpage was a remarkable $8128.62.

2023 MLK Day of Service with Rise Against Hunger

After scaling back the past 2 years, Rise Against Hunger (RAH) is bringing back the MLK Day Collaboration, an opportunity to honor Dr. King by standing with our neighbors to deliver justice for those facing hunger around the world. You are invited to join St. Paul’s volunteers, along with 12 other Raleigh-area organizations, for a Meal Packaging Event honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy. ..

Habitat for Humanity House Build

St. Paul’s is participating in Habitat for Humanity through a coalition known as the Episcopal Build. Eleven churches in the Diocese of North Carolina have joined together to strengthen relationships while serving hard working families in need of affordable housing.
Work starts at the Habitat Construction facility, 3301 Jones Sausage Rd in Garner, on February 4, 2023. You must sign up in advance to participate. Future work dates are to be determined as permitting is completed. For more information contact Kevin McIntire at kvn.mcintire@gmail.com.

Adult Formation on Wednesday Evenings: An Altar in the World
