Adult Formation (week of Aug 6, 2017)

ADULT FORMATION CLASSES:

On Sunday, August 6, a brief film in the NOOMA series will be shown in the Youth Wing, followed by a discussion period, between the 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. services.  These films explore real-life situations from the perspective of Jesus.  All are welcome to attend.

The fifth session viewing and discussing The Shack will be Wednesday, August 9, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Youth Wing.  The movie is based on William Paul Young’s best-selling book of the same name.  Please join us even if you missed sessions.

Would you like to support Adult Formation offerings at St. Paul’s?  We are looking for people willing to occasionally set up the coffee and cookies for the Sunday morning events.  Training is provided.  If you are interested, please contact Andrea Johnson, jang7e@gmail.com or 919-348-9599.

Nextdoor Instructions

Thank you for agreeing to publicize Lobster Fest on Nextdoor. Here are a few things we’re asking:

  1. Please post this as an Event.
  2. Under “Choose Neighbors,” select Yours and Nearby
  3. For Category, choose Festival. Title is “Lobster Fest Cary“.
  4. Cut and paste this description, please:

Lobster Fest Cary brings the fresh taste of Maine lobster right here to Wake County! The lobsters are pulled out of the water, packed in a cooler truck in Maine and driven overnight to Cary. Dine-In and enjoy a social event or Take Out and make your own event – Live Lobster, Cooked Lobster, Lobster Rolls – you decide! Pre-ordering online (lobsterfestcary.org) is a must, as quantities often run out early in the day, and we hate to disappoint Lobster Lovers.
