Wednesday Evening Adult Formation (7:00-8:00 PM in the Youth Wing)

Wednesdays, November 8 and 15. Join the Rev. Javier Almendarez Bautista as we delve deeper into two core Christian practices: Reading scripture and sharing communion. We will explore these topics with the help of a video series, Tracts for Our Times, which features the Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, and Dr. Ellen Davis, Professor of Bible and Practical Theology at Duke Divinity School.

Adult Formation needs your help with setting up coffee hour. Minimal commitment one Sunday per month and training is available.  Interested volunteers can contact Andrea Johnson at jang7e@gmail.com or call/text 919-348-9599.

Nextdoor Instructions

Thank you for agreeing to publicize Lobster Fest on Nextdoor. Here are a few things we’re asking:

  1. Please post this as an Event.
  2. Under “Choose Neighbors,” select Yours and Nearby
  3. For Category, choose Festival. Title is “Lobster Fest Cary“.
  4. Cut and paste this description, please:

Lobster Fest Cary brings the fresh taste of Maine lobster right here to Wake County! The lobsters are pulled out of the water, packed in a cooler truck in Maine and driven overnight to Cary. Dine-In and enjoy a social event or Take Out and make your own event – Live Lobster, Cooked Lobster, Lobster Rolls – you decide! Pre-ordering online (lobsterfestcary.org) is a must, as quantities often run out early in the day, and we hate to disappoint Lobster Lovers.
