Fall is coming and Adult Formation is finalizing the offerings to fit the new “normal.” George van Arnam decided not to offer Emily Dickinson III via Zoom so we are substituting a book study. After the success of Rob Bell’s What Is the Bible?, Gerri Batchelor has agreed to facilitate another of Bell’s best sellers: Love Wins: A Book about Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived. The six-week study will begin Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom, and will continue through Wednesday, October 14. The following week, on October 21, Howard Loughlin will facilitate, again on Zoom, Adam Hamilton’s six-week study of the Gospel of John. Hamilton points out the unique aspects of this Gospel, encouraging consideration of the meaning of Jesus for each of us. This series will end the last week in November.
