Economic Empowerment and the Church in African American Communities (Sep 7)

An informative program titled Economic Empowerment and the Church in African American Communities, will be held at Saint Augustine’s Chapel at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 7, 2016. The guest speaker is Father Ray Massenburg of Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church, Washington D.C. Saint Luke’s Church is a historically African-American parish founded by the Rev. Crummell who was instrumental in promoting strong African-American congregations. The Rev. Crummell served as a voice for social justice in the 19th century.
