Lifelong Learning Program Update

The Lifelong Learning Program has a jam-packed schedule this fall, and we hope you will participate in one of our offerings!

Healing Touch: This is an energy-based approach for health and healing, led by parishioner, Linda Huckabee. The program is being offered on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Please contact Linda at lindabee@gmail.com if you are interested.

Meditation morning: Would you like a morning of stress reducing activities that quiet the mind and relax the body? Nancy Harrell will offer this popular class again on Saturday, September 23, from 9:00-11:00 AM. Contact Nancy Harrell at nharrellmt@nc.rr.com to sign up.

CPR: St. Paul’s parishioner Carter Collins is a certified CPR instructor. She will offer CPR training in September. Please check in with Carter at cartsmarts@yahoo.com if you would like to participate. Time and date will be announced in the E-News and bulletin when finalized. There is a $6 fee required by the Red Cross.

We are also formulating October offerings. The tentative schedule includes:

Checklists for Life: What kind of things do you need on your checklist? Do you have a will? A power of attorney? Why are these important even if their use seems far off? On October 11, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the chapel, Bill Gautier will talk about things you can do to reduce stress and prepare for the future. Email Bill at goats1@gmail.com for more information.

Parenting: St. Paul’s parishioner, Jean Wittig is a life coach and author on parenting. She’ll be offering a parenting class in October and November. More information will be forthcoming, but please contact Jean at info@jeanwittig.com if you are interested.

Foster Care and Adoption: We are putting together a panel of St. Paul’s parents to discuss their experiences with foster care and adoption.

If you have a skill or talent you’d like to share with others, please contact Dan Loughlin at danloughlin@gmail.com.
