Wednesday Evening Book Study: Nadia Bolz-Weber’s Pastrix

The first book in our summer program will be Nadia Bolz-Weber’s Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint.

This theological memoir highlights the vulnerability and spiritual growth of a remarkable woman.  Her humor, wisdom, and salty, often lyrical prose make this an engrossing book.  If you don’t know this tattooed, unconventional Lutheran pastor, join our six sessions beginning June 1.  We will be meeting via Zoom from 7-8 pm on Wednesdays.  To register or get more information, please contact Gerri Batchelor (gerrikairos@gmail.com).

In mid-July, we will be reading Searching for Sunday by Rachel Held Evans and focusing on the seven sacraments.  More on this one later!
