Important:  St. Paul’s is looking for a volunteer(s) to take over the coordination of Coffee Hour starting in 2020.

We are not asking for this person to be there every Sunday making coffee. We are looking for someone to maintain the sign up list, recruiting groups to prepare the coffee/snacks throughout the calendar year. Many dates are automatically filled with special holidays and events. The coordinator would be just that – the person who coordinates the sign ups and answers questions from groups about what the specific tasks might be. The Jan-May list is out and halfway filled already. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080d4eaeab2cab9-stpauls13

The vestry and clergy are fine with some dates going unfilled, if that’s unavoidable. Most ministries just need a little reminder/encouragement to step up and help. We think simple is sometimes better. We would also entertain discussion of new ideas for coffee hour – but you don’t have to invent anything either, if that’s not your style. Instructions/videos are already in place; we just need someone to step up and guide the ministries/groups to sign up and show up. The Signup Genius makes the whole process rather simple, even sending reminders!

If you or someone you know would be willing to do this hospitality ministry for 2020, please let me know. I will be happy to support you and make sure you understand exactly what it entails.

Thank you!

Nextdoor Instructions

Thank you for agreeing to publicize Lobster Fest on Nextdoor. Here are a few things we’re asking:

  1. Please post this as an Event.
  2. Under “Choose Neighbors,” select Yours and Nearby
  3. For Category, choose Festival. Title is “Lobster Fest Cary“.
  4. Cut and paste this description, please:

Lobster Fest Cary brings the fresh taste of Maine lobster right here to Wake County! The lobsters are pulled out of the water, packed in a cooler truck in Maine and driven overnight to Cary. Dine-In and enjoy a social event or Take Out and make your own event – Live Lobster, Cooked Lobster, Lobster Rolls – you decide! Pre-ordering online (lobsterfestcary.org) is a must, as quantities often run out early in the day, and we hate to disappoint Lobster Lovers.
