December 19, 2015 was a day of accomplishment for adults and youth. A team of adults worked in the Church Building to upgrade the lighting and in the Education Building to replace fluorescent tubes with new energy-saving LED lights. The youth transformed the Youth Wing with a bright new paint job. Click here for pictures.
The LED lighting will save money for the church. LEDs last almost indefinitely, thus reducing costs involved with buying fluorescent tubes and renting lifts to replace them. LEDs also use less energy thus saving on the electric bill and provide more light than the old florescent tubes. The picture below shows the work team replacing the fixtures.
