The second book in our summer program will be Rachel Held Evans’ Searching for Sunday: Loving, Leaving, and Finding the Church.
Using the sacraments (baptism, eucharist, etc.) as focal points, Rachel Held Evans explores her spiritual growth as her relationship with the church evolved. Her honesty, wit, and ability to see how the sacraments transform daily events give the familiar rituals new life and relevance.
