Wednesday Evening Adult Formation Book Study

The next Wednesday Evening Adult Formation Book Study will read Joseph Loconte’s book, “A Hobbit, A Wardrobe and a Great War:  How J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis rediscovered Faith, Friendship, and Heroism in the Cataclysm of 1914-1918.”  WWI shaped the views of both men, which is reflected in their literary approaches to the eternal battles between good and evil.  In this challenging book, we can find unexpected heroes and moments of grace and wisdom born in the rich friendship between the two men.

We will have SIX ZOOM gatherings on Wednesdays at 7:00PM over a SEVEN week period.  The dates are April 12, 19 and 26, resuming May 10, 17 and 24.

Register with Cathryn Lamb at CEweLater@aol.com or Gerri Batchelor at gerrikairos@gmail.com.

The book is available for order on a number of online sites.
