MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS AND REFRESHMENTS:  There are no refreshments this week. Many of our ministries are taking a little time off this summer.

Next Sunday is the End of Summer Mini Ministry Fair.  See the announcement below for details.

END OF SUMMER MINI MINISTRY FAIR:  This event will be held in the Parish Hall during coffee hour on August 26.  Different ministries are highlighted at the three mini fairs held each year.  Some of the groups which will be on hand at this fair are: Adult Formation, Arts and Crafts Festival, Capital Campaign, Children’s Ministries, Lectors, Lobster Fest, Men’s Group, Prayer Stitchers, Urban Ministries/Little Red Wagon, Ushers, and Veterans & Military Outreach.

WAKE COUNTY SPONSORS MEETING SEPT 6: Join a diverse team of leaders from across Wake County who are committed to building a local organization that is big enough and broad enough to address the top pressures facing our families and communities today.  More than 35 institutions have agreed to participate.  At the Sept 6 meeting, we will collectively shape a strategy to continue to build relationships and broaden our base this fall.  Newcomers are encouraged to attend!  The meeting is Thursday, September 6, at 7:00 pm at Martin Street Baptist Church in Raleigh.  See website for link to sign up.  Email Javier at Javier@stpaulscary.org or Katie at katiebricio13@gmail.com with questions.

Welcoming in Christ – The Anniversary Capital Campaign:  Vision Tours Occurring Throughout August: The Welcoming in Christ Campaign committee will host vision tours every Sunday in August from 10:00-10:45 a.m.  Your tour guides will guide you through our current facilities to honor the memories of our spaces and to help you envision what the new spaces will look like after our Capital Campaign!  We’ll meet you in the narthex, near the choir room, to start our tour.

The Arts & Crafts Festival committee is looking for a new committee member to manage the St. Paul’s Table, which sells handmade items donated by parishioners.  We’d love to have you join us in raising money for outreach.  If you’re interested and would like to know more, please contact Sally Moller, sbm2@nc.rr.com.
