ADULT FORMATION
Sunday: Join us at 10:10 a.m. in the chapel as the Rev. Javier Almendárez Bautista leads a discussion of “Exodus,” part of our fall series, Roots Down: Exploring through the Old Testament and the Monastic Tradition.

Wednesday: Please join us Wednesday at 7:00-8:00 p.m., in the youth wing to view and discuss A Quiet Passion, a series on Emily Dickinson’s life, lead by George Van Arnam. For Dickinson, words are more than marks on paper; they shimmer with revelations. Her poetry speaks to the restless heart of many who seek to draw nearer to the God beyond creeds and sermons.

PRAYER LIST RENEWAL: We ask that those who have requested friends and loved ones be included on the prayer list, email the office at stpauls@stpaulscary.org or call the office at 467-1477 extension 10, to renew the request. WCS LISTENING SESSIONS, NEXT STEPS:
There will be a gathering of all the participating churches, mosques, synagogues, and other groups on Tuesday, October 29, from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at State Street Community Church (1200 S. Thank you to the 104 of you who participated in a “Listening Session” to discuss the problems facing Wake County.

FALL BLOOD DRIVE: On Wednesday, Nov. 6th, we will be having a fall blood drive in collaboration with our neighbors, Cary Presbyterian Church. Not only could you possibly give the gift of life up to 3 people, but you can also have $10 donated to the church! Please go to The Blood Connection website and click on the donate button. You will need to put in the date of the drive to find it. It will be under Cary Presbyterian. Volunteers are also needed to assist in greeting donors and working in the canteen. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Lisa Walt at lisa.walt@yahoo.com.

WOMEN’S STUDY GROUP: Evening or Weekend section? There is some interest in starting a section of the Women’s Study Group that would meet on weekends or an evening during the week. STEWARDSHIP: VISION 2020
At St. Paul’s, we have a vision for a better world. A world where we work for justice for all. A world where we walk with our LGBTQ+ siblings. A world where we seek racial reconciliation. A world where we welcome immigrants, refugees, and farmworkers. And a world where we care for God’s creation.
Work. Walk. Seek. Welcome. Care.
We are so fortunate to have an abundance of programs and ministries here at St. Paul’s to meet our parish needs and those of the greater community. It is with your pledge that we can plan and grow these programs for all of us to continue to benefit and enjoy. It is your pledge to the operating budget for 2020 will make the vision a reality. Extra pledge forms are available in the narthex. You may also go to stpaulscary.org to pledge with the push of a button.
