Newcomer Ministry Needs Volunteers

St. Paul’s has a long-standing tradition of welcoming newcomers with a loaf of homemade bread.  Although we had to pause this effort over the past couple of years, we’re ready to start up again. …

Veterans: Let Us Thank You for Your Service (Nov 13, 2016)

If you have served or currently serve in the U.S. military, St. Paul’s would like to recognize you on November 13, 2016, the Sunday after Veterans Day, by listing your name, branch of service, and rank at separation in a special insert in the bulletin. Please email that information to nicole.griffin@gmail.com no later than November 3 to ensure that you are included.  Continue reading for more.

Help Wanted!

Seamstresses Needed
Looking for Volunteer Lawn Mowers

Transportation Needed: Can You Help?

St. Paul’s has a longstanding tradition of providing transportation to those in need.  Care and Share helps with coordinating transportation to both appointments and Sunday Services.  Currently, we have need of transportation to and from the 9:00 am service. If you are able to help, please contact: Kittied45@gmail.com or melonie.wigley@att.net.

Physicians, Nurses, EMS Responders Needed

Physicians, Nurses, EMS Responders: Our clergy requests to know medical persons who would be willing to respond to apparent medical emergencies on Sundays only during church services and adult education offerings. If you are willing to respond, please send your name and the time of the church service you normally attend to Margie Best at mwbest@bellsouth.net. The ushers will be given the list of names so that they know from whom to enlist help in case of need. Thank you.

Looking for Volunteer Lawn Mowers

St. Paul’s uses volunteers to maintain the grounds at church.   With spring coming we are looking for individuals who would be willing to help mow and edge the church lawn once or twice during the spring.  The church provides the mowers.  The more volunteers, the fewer times each person needs to mow.  Please contact Fill Bowen, 919-215-4543, fbowen@mindspring.com if you would be willing to help with this important stewardship activity of time and talent.

Help Install LED Lights (Feb 27)

Phase 2 of our efforts to replace fluorescent lights with new energy-saving and long-lasting LED lights will take place on Saturday, February 27 from 1:30 until 5:30. We need more folks to help.  Contact Jason Sayers 919-491-6042 or jason.l.sayers@gmail.com.

Church Work Day (Dec 19)

Please join us on December 19 for one last volunteer work day of the year, starting at 8:30 AM. We will meet in the Parish Hall and work throughout the day. Please feel free to come for an hour or two (or longer!). Child care will be available between 8:45 AM and 12:15 PM, and holiday cookies and beverages will be provided. Contact Jason Sayers 919-491-6042 or jason.l.sayers@gmail.com.

Also, we are looking for a small team of volunteers to move the risers in the Sanctuary on December 17 at 5:00 PM to prep for the weekend lighting installation. Contact Jason Sayers 919-491-6042 or jason.l.sayers@gmail.com.

One more thing: we are looking for help with the church lock-up crew. This is a process where we lock up the property on Sunday after the 11:15 service. You would do this about 4-5 times a year. Contact Dave Buchanan, dtbuchanan114@outlook.com.
