The Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina: COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
Elementary Ages – Thursday, February 18, at 9:30 am
Certified community resilience trainer and wellness director at Christ Church, Charlotte, Mollee Reitz will offer two 90-minute trainings on community resilience. These trainings will include: defining resiliency, talking about adverse childhood experiences, how stress and trauma affect us physically, and how we can use our knowledge of biology and neurobiology to reset and stabilize our nervous system, thus building resiliency. She will also share resiliency-building skills that can help get us back into our “resilient zone” and share ideas about how to teach these skills to children and youth. Pre-registration is required, and there is a 10-participant max capacity for each of the sessions.
