Celebration for Bishop and Mrs. Curry (Oct 10)
REGISTER FOR BISHOP AND MRS. CURRY’S FAREWELL CELEBRATION
The dates and locations for the Celebrations and Thanksgivings for Bishop & Mrs. Curry have been set. All gatherings will run from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, and registration by October 2 is required. Each gathering will begin with a short liturgy and include plenty of time to say good-bye to Bishop and Mrs. Curry, thank them for their dedication to the diocese and wish them well. The dates and locations are:
- Saturday, Sept. 26: St. Andrew’s, 2105 W. Market St., Greensboro – Register
- Saturday, Oct. 3: Christ Church, 1412 Providence Rd., Charlotte – Register
- Saturday, Oct. 10: Good Shepherd, 121 Hillsborough St., Raleigh – Register
A “Celebration Fund” has also been established in order to purchase vestments for Bishop Curry, make a contribution to the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry in his and Mrs. Curry’s honor, and give them a farewell gift.
