Book Study of Richard Rohr’s Falling Upward (Jan 6 – Feb 10, 2021)

St. Paul’s Adult Formation Virtual Book Study (Wednesdays, Jan 6 through Feb 10 at 7:30 p.m. on Zoom)

In his 2011 work Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life, Fr. Richard Rohr contends that our spiritual lives are divided into two halves, the first of which is devoted to establishing our personal identities, creating boundaries, seeking security, and forging connections.  Fr. Rohr explores the paradigm-shifting concept of “falling upward” toward our True Selves through a second half “further journey”, which can only be understood through failure, missteps, and necessary suffering.
