The state of North Carolina, working with Apple and Google, has created a phone app to help slow the spread of the virus, and we are encouraging all members of our community to install and enable it, for your own safety as well as the safety of those around you. We are especially requesting anyone that has a need to visit the church facilities to install the app before coming to the church (if you are able).
The app is called SlowCOVIDNC and is available for recent models of the iPhone and Android phones. The app notifies you if you have had extended close contact with someone who has later been tested positive, while keeping you and the diagnosed person completely anonymous.
