Register Now for “Deep Dive with Rabbi Ariel and Father Javier” (Tuesdays at 7:00 pm)

On Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. in May, join Rabbi Ariel from Beth Shalom, Raleigh, and Father Javier from St. Paul’s, Cary, for a forum on faith and culture. We will explore a wide range of themes in a conversational format with some time for Q&A at the end of each forum.

On Tuesday, May 5, our conversation will revolve around vocation: how do we figure out what we are meant to do? Is there a difference between one’s career and one’s calling? What do we mean when we say that we are “called” to something in the first place? Join Rabbi Ariel and Fr. Javier as we explore vocation from personal experience as well as our particular faith traditions — and bring your questions as we consider what vocation might mean in our day and age.

Register for the event here. You will receive instructions for how to access the Zoom Webinar once you complete the form.

Nextdoor Instructions

Thank you for agreeing to publicize Lobster Fest on Nextdoor. Here are a few things we’re asking:

  1. Please post this as an Event.
  2. Under “Choose Neighbors,” select Yours and Nearby
  3. For Category, choose Festival. Title is “Lobster Fest Cary“.
  4. Cut and paste this description, please:

Lobster Fest Cary brings the fresh taste of Maine lobster right here to Wake County! The lobsters are pulled out of the water, packed in a cooler truck in Maine and driven overnight to Cary. Dine-In and enjoy a social event or Take Out and make your own event – Live Lobster, Cooked Lobster, Lobster Rolls – you decide! Pre-ordering online (lobsterfestcary.org) is a must, as quantities often run out early in the day, and we hate to disappoint Lobster Lovers.
