The Prayer Stitchers ministry will have a variety of knitted and crocheted items available for sale in the narthex during the upcoming St. Paul’s Arts and Craft Festival. Stop by our tables to find the perfect gift for your family, friends, or your child’s teacher.

Unique items this year include many stuffed animals and a baby’s crib mobile. The assortment includes stuffed bears, ducks, a fawn, frogs, a lamb, a monkey, owls, and a unicorn. All are toys any child will love and cherish.

We have individual hats, hat and scarf sets, as well as hat, scarf and mitten sets. You’ll find some items made in school colors for high schools and colleges.

There are a few cowls, one pair fingerless gloves, an infinite scarf and many scarves. We have some beautiful shawls with intricate designs priced from $18 to $50.

For those little ones, we have a baby blanket with matching hat and several individual baby hats. We also have three purses for the little girl of the house.

Items for your home include two afghans, three decorative throw pillows, colorful covered hangers, dishcloths, washcloths, and Swiffer covers.

See below for details on “BODO” hats: “Buy One Donate One” table of over one hundred hats.

“BODO” hats are back! This means you’ll Buy One hat and you may Donate One hat to one of the three organizations that St. Paul’s Outreach and Prayer Stitchers plans to help. Over one hundred hats will be on a designated table during the festival, all priced at $12.00. You buy one hat for $12.00 and you get to choose a second hat to place in a container for one of the three organizations; thus you’re not only getting a hat for yourself, but you’re also choosing a hat to give to someone in need.

The three organizations are:

  1. Note in the Pocket: provides clothing to impoverished and homeless children in Wake County. Note in the Pocket believes it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school.
  2. With Love From Jesus: serves the men, women, and children in Wake and Johnston counties experiencing homelessness and hardship. The organization gives hope and encouragement to individuals and families in crisis by sharing the gospel and meeting practical needs.
  3. Military Missions in Action: dedicated to assisting veterans with disabilities, members of the Armed Forces and their families. This vision is to set the standard of support for our veterans with disabilities.

Please join us on November 4, 2017 to purchase a hat for yourself, as well as a hat for someone in need, both for the price of $12.00. What a deal!
