Family Promise Update

May 5, 2021

Hello Family Promise Volunteers,

HAPPY SPRING!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on our ministry.

Last Sunday, we had Carey Phelps , the Development & Volunteer Manager of Family Promise (Wake County) join us for Adult Formation. It was very informative and thanks to Fr. Javier for inviting Carey. Here is the link to the recorded session and I highly recommend it as I myself have learned a few things.

You also may be wondering what is happening with our ministry. We have not been able to partner with a church this year as White Plains UMC is having the building where they house the families renovated. Until the renovations are done, we may not be able to partner with them. However, Family Promise’s work does not stop and if you are willing to volunteer individually with them, please do so. Here is a link in their website for volunteer interest:

Thank you and I’ll let you know about any developments. Have a wonderful Mother’s Day to all our mothers.

Take care ,
Myrna
