Family Promise Week (Apr 30-May 7, 2017)

Volunteers needed!  Our next Family Promise (formerly Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network) week of the year is Sunday April 30 through May 7, 2017. Family Promise helps families without homes achieve independence by providing temporary housing, lodging, meals, case management, and educational services. St. Paul’s serves as a host congregation, providing meals, supplies, and volunteer support to families temporarily residing at White Plains United Methodist Church in Cary several times each year. We currently need these volunteers:

Set Up : Sun Apr 30 from 2:00-4:00 PM : EYC is going to take this

Social Hosts: (also great opportunity for parents and kids together) This is from 6:30-8:30 PM:  Monday May 1, Wednesday May 3, Thursday May 4, Saturday, May 6

Overnight Hosts: A couple will work for any of these nights and it’s OK to have two men or two women on any given night. We just try to have one of each if we can. This is from 8:30 PM to around 6:30 AM.

  • Male (if possible): Sunday Apr 30, Thursday May 4, Saturday May 6
  • Female (if possible): Monday May 1, Tuesday May 2, Wednesday May 3, Friday May 5
