Habitat for Humanity Episcopal Build

The start of the Lenten Episcopal Build for Habitat for Humanity is approaching fast. The build will take place over approximately twelve weeks, and the first build weekend will begin on Saturday, February 13 with frame building at the HabitatWake construction center at 7:30 AM, followed by a wall-raising ceremony at 11:45 AM at the Construction Center, with lunch to follow, and then a regular work day until 3:30 PM. The Construction Center is located at 2728 Capital Boulevard, Suite 164. Click HERE for the map link.

The worship service and work day scheduled for Sunday, February 14 has been canceled due to forecast of cold weather and will be rescheduled.

St. Paul’s has reserved the weekends of March 10-12 and April 7-9 for church work weekends, but volunteers are welcome every day when work is scheduled, and no prior construction experience is necessary. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can sign up at: http://vhub.at/episcopalbuild2016 (this is the only way to register for reserved slots). Please be aware that volunteers must be 16 years of age or older (16 and 17 year olds will require a parental waiver.)
