St. Paul’s has been given an opportunity to serve those less fortunate by helping out on an ongoing basis at the Dorcas Food Pantry. It is located at 187 High House Road in Cary (when facing the entrance to the Thrift Shop it is the first door on the right – ring the bell). This is a great opportunity for families or small groups looking for a way to help neighbors in need. St. Paul’s has been asked to supply 4 volunteers for the 2nd and 4th Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m. starting Saturday, March 9, 2019 on an on-going basis. Children ages 11 and up can serve with a parent. The shoppers will be people pre-approved and St. Paul’s will be responsible for assisting shoppers, receiving food pantry donations, helping pack up groceries, smiling and encouraging the shoppers.
