An Important Invitation to ALL Parents, Grandparents, Students, Teachers, and School Staff:

Please be part of our hope for the Future of Education in Wake County

On Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 7:00-8:00 p.m., ONE Wake St. Paul’s will be conducting a Zoom call Listening Session to hear your comments, thoughts, and hopes about the following topics involving education in Wake County. During the call, we will be making a list of your comments and concerns to share with our ONE Wake Education Team on January 21.

1. What are the biggest pressures or stresses in education in Wake County from YOUR point of view?

2. What are your greatest concerns about public or charter education in Wake County in the present and immediate future?

3. Did you experience any benefits or drawbacks to virtual education?

4. What should be the goals for the future in terms of:

a. Class size — teacher to student ratio
b. Appropriate teacher compensation
c. School support systems — such as counselors, school nurse presence, tutoring needs, meals, etc.

5. Any topic you wish to share involving education at any level in schools in Wake County.

If you cannot attend the session, but would like to discuss an issue, please contact Lesley Dinwiddie at lesleydinwiddie@gmail.com , and we will certainly include your comments on our list to share at our One Wake meeting on January 21.
