During our meeting you will learn about the latest developments in our campaign to win community benefits from John Kane in exchange for rezoning Downtown South, why this campaign is necessary, and the tools we have at our disposal to secure binding commitments from Kane.
All participants will be invited to take action together at the conclusion of our meeting in support of our goal to send at least 600 emails to the Raleigh City Council to ask them to support our vision for community benefits.
Wake County residents from outside Raleigh are encouraged to attend as well – this is a countywide issue given John Kane’s request for a direct public subsidy which could cost Wake County $120 million over the next 20 years.
