Stop Hunger Now Event (Oct 11, 2015)

ARE YOU READY TO PACK? We have another wonderful opportunity to pack meals with Stop Hunger Now coming soon. The event is Sunday October 11 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the Parish Hall. We will be packaging 10,152 meals.

The cost of this event is $2944 ($0.29/meal). Due to the generous support from our last event, we have $747 that will go towards this event and the Men’s Group of St Paul’s have made a generous donation of $750. We will need to raise $1447. This can be done by making a suggested donation of $20 per person.

This is a family friendly event and as such can place a financial burden on families that would like to participate, so support from those who cannot attend is greatly appreciated. This ministry is an incredible and very tangible way to reach out beyond our community to help those in dire need. As we continue to be blessed with nourishment each day, we need to continue to help nourish those who are much less fortunate.

There is a new process for signing up and making donations. Please go to http://events.stophungernow.org/StPaulsCary to register and make your donation. This new process is to protect all participants’ personal information, and to provide immediate receipts for all donations. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact Glenda Swann at swann.glenda@gmail.com.
