Thank you from St. Paul’s Episcopal Farmworker Ministry team – Back-to-School Drive 2021

Thank you, St. Paul’s!  Through your bountiful support, we provided more than 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to the Episcopal Farmworkers Ministry (EFwM)!  In addition, your very generous contributions of cash, gift cards, calculators, and school supplies are still being put to use at EFwM.  St. Paul’s backpacks were also used as gifts at a vaccination event – to encourage farmworker adults and youth to get vaccinated against COVID.  Together with churches across the Diocese of North Carolina and the Diocese of East Carolina, you have made a difference for almost 500 children and their families!

Talking to the EFwM volunteers at the school supply distribution event (often young people from the farmworker community who are now in college) and to the farmworker parents, there was a strong commitment to educating their children: your contributions to the EFwM at St. Paul’s are helping to provide these essential workers and their families with a hope for a better tomorrow.  Thank you, St. Paul’s!
