Vets to Vets Service Dog Graduation (Oct 7, 2018)

VMO (Veterans and Military Outreach) is pleased to announce the first Annual Veteran’s and Service Animal Initiative.  In order to raise money we have implemented a program whereby funds are generated by selling Dog Biscuits with all supplies donated by our Parish Family and all proceeds donated to a Service Animal organization.  This year, we have selected Vets to Vets United, Inc, a not for profit organization.

Vets to Vets United “consists of local Veterinarians and volunteers working together to provide Military Veterans suffering from various disabilities with therapeutic and emotional support animals (provided by local shelters, reducing significantly euthanized animals)” and works closely with the Durham Veteran’s Hospital in Durham, NC.

Our VMO family has diligently worked on a planned activity that will uphold St. Paul’s Mission and Vision to acknowledge all gifts come from God, to know Christ and make Christ known through service as we grow in faith together for the common good of helping disabled Veterans while simultaneously reducing euthanized animals in local shelters.

We have been cordially invited to attend the Vets to Vets United, Service Dog Team Graduation.  Click HERE for the invitation or see below.
