Wheels4Hope is open on a limited basis while we are staying at home. Volunteers have been required to stay home until the restrictions are lifted. The Wheels4Hope staff is taking in donated cars, although donations are down. The staff mechanics are repairing them. The cars are then sold to clients or the public as appropriate. During these times, transportation remains a critical need for many residents in our area, especially with reduced public transportation and the need for social distancing. While we are doing clean up projects at home, this might be a good time to donate that used car we no longer use.
