The Episcopal Farmworker’s Ministry, located in Newton Grove, NC, is asking the extended community of Central and Eastern NC to purchase backpacks and school supplies for the children of seasonal farmworkers. The attached Signup Genius gives details about what should be purchased. If you want, partner with another family to purchase the backpack and the suggested supplies. Or, purchase as much as you are willing to purchase, given your budget and your interest.
Last year we donated 50 backpacks and supplies. This year, we are targeting 100, with 50 already purchased…most with supplies, but not all. We will finish those up in the coming weeks.
We will collect the donations before and after church on the three Sundays of July 11, 18, 25. Bless you all!
