Choral Evensong at St. Paul’s on 6th November 2022
On November 6, 2022, at 5:00 pm the Raleigh Convocation Choir will present a Choral Evensong for All Saints’ (transferred) at St. Paul’s. Made up of singers from parish choirs from the Raleigh area of the diocese, the choir includes several members from the St. Paul’s Choir. The ensemble is led by Rusty McKinney, RCC’s recently appointed Music Director. Music includes Reponses by Richard Ayleward, Canticles by Thomas Weelkes (from his Short Service) and Anthems by Henry Purcell, Tomás Luis de Victoria, and William Mundy. The Reverend George Adamik will officiate and Mac Pannill, long-time organist at White Plains UMC will be guest organist. Slightly under an hour long, Choral Evensong is a very good service to invite friends and neighbors to, and a peaceful way to close the day. Come join us. All are welcome!
