Youth News (Oct 7, 2018)

I’m fitting this in between classes in Memphis, so it will be short and sweet! There’s a lot going on this weekend, so read below for ways to help and have fun.

LOBSTERS

  • Lobster Fest Saturday, October 6th: This is a parish-wide event and youth help is critical. It’s a little messy, but we have a great time and make a lot of people happy during the day.  We can still use more help from 10:30-1 or 1-3:30. More help means the work gets shared. Come to the Parish Hall and find me to get a job.

SUNDAY

  • Youth Host Coffee Hour, October 7th: We are setting up, providing food, and cleaning up for coffee hour next week. Please sign up to help: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0d49afaa2fa7fb6-youth9.
  • Youth Christian Formation Sunday: The lesson is entitled “Who Do I Want To Be: Choosing God for Yourself.” Middle School meets in the Youth Wing (go straight there, snacks are provided) and High School meets in Room 10.
  • EYC Sunday 5-7 pm: Photo Scavenger Hunt Night – Bring your phone for this one (though I know we’ll have more than enough!). It will be a fun way to learn the campus and a little more about our church. There will also be music and dinner. Come have fun.

I hope to see lots of you on Saturday and again for our programming on Sunday.

Peace,

Leah Dail
