All in-person Adult, Youth, and Children’s Formation activities are cancelled through Saturday, March 28, due to the coronavirus outbreak. Continue to follow our website for updates and rescheduled events, including the ASP spaghetti dinner.
Tonight’s talk was not comfortable for everyone. We discussed mental health, how prevalent it is, and the importance of reaching out to trusted adults when we are not feeling mentally well. It’s a heavy topic, but I thought it was essential that we discussed it.
Speaking of heavy topics, next week we will have the youth group of All Saint Anglican Church join us and we will be discussing substance use together. All are welcome, and I hope you’re able to join us!
Please reach out if you have any questions about the material I am presenting.
Sign up Genius. I do need parents to sign up for most future EYC Sunday evenings. I try not to ask a whole lot of the parents when they come, and their input is always welcome during our discussions. If you are available, it would be a joy to have you with us. Thank you.

One Wake: May 31st.
I would really love to have our youth help represent Saint Pauls at the One Wake gathering on May 31st. I had a couple of youth sign up and say they were interested in attending which is beautiful! Think about what it would mean to have your children stand in solidarity with 30 plus organizations and their congregation as we advocate for living wages, affordable housing, and funding for schools.
Happening and Genesis: March 27th – 29th
Happening is a renewal weekend for high school youth. The event allows young people to encounter Christ in an intentional Christian community. The event is led by youth with clergy and lay adult support. Highlights of the weekend include talks, songs, worship and small groups. Happening is a youth event under the authority of the diocesan bishop.
Genesis is a middle school event during which young people grades 6-8 are encouraged to learn more and grow deeper in their faith through talks and the leadership of high school age youth. The theme for 2020 is relationships with God and relationships with ourselves. Join us for a youth lead weekend with talks, music, small groups, friends and fun.
Thank you all so much.
